Gwen Stefani surprised Carly Pearce with a gift ahead of their “special one-of-a-kind performance” at the upcoming 2023 CMT Music Awards.
On March 18, Stefani took to social media to share a clip of her hand-delivering a present to Pearce, who was in the midst of touring with Stefani’s husband, Blake Shelton, on his Back To The Honky Tonk Tour.
She Hand Delivers The Package
The clip documents Stefani’s journey from Los Angeles on a private plane to Pearce’s dressing room backstage at one of Shelton’s concerts.
“Ok Carly Pearce, you told me you were a GXVE fan. I’m about ready to hook you up,” Stefani said.
“We’re doing it! Where are you Carly?” Stefani said as she made her way through the backstage area to Pearce’s dressing room. “Look what I brought for you all the way from Los Angeles.”
“Oh my God!” Pearce said in shock as Stefani handed her a GXVE-branded black box full of makeup products.

“These are the best products in the whole world! It’s my favorite, I told her I bought my own earlier to the show because I just wanted her to know this is all I use. So, thank you!” Pearce said as she graciously thanked and hugged Stefani.
The generous gift package included a red GXVE hoodie as well as a makeup bag and several other GXVE products such as lipstick, eyeshadow, and more.
Pearce also shared the clip of Stefani surprising her with GXVE goodies.
“I’ve been such a fan of @gxvebeauty lip products, wearing them for EVERY show & this sweet angel heard about it and surprised me with the most amazing gift box! I ♥️ you big @gwenstefani!!!” Pearce wrote on Twitter.

GXVE Beauty is a “clean, high performance color cosmetics brand” launched by Gwen Stefani in March of 2022. According to a press release, “GXVE Beauty represents Gwen’s passion for makeup.”
Stefani’s love for makeup began at an early age, back when she was working as a makeup artist in Orange County at a department store beauty counter.
The high-quality makeup brand, which is sold exclusively online and at Sephora, features an array of products, including eyeshadow, mascara, lip gloss, gel liner, eyebrow pencils and more.
Collab Performance
Gwen Stefani and Carly Pearce will soon join forces for a performance at the upcoming 2023 CMT Music Awards on April 2 in Austin, Texas.
“SO EXCITED to team up with this beauty!! Y’all be sure to check us out performing live for the first time together on the @cmt awards. Let’s do this @gwenstefani. 👯♀️,” Pearce shared on social media following the announcement.
Pearce previously teased the collaboration during an interview with Evan Paul on Taste Of Country Nights.
“Is it possible to have you and Gwen get up on stage and sing together while on this tour?” Paul asked Pearce, to which she replied, “No comment because I don’t know, it could be happening.”
Pearce is currently nominated for two CMT Music Awards, including Female Video Of The Year and CMT Performance Of The Year.

In addition to Pearce and Stefani, Blake Shelton, Shania Twain, Alanis Morissette, Ingrid Andress, Lainey Wilson, Madeline Edwards, Morgan Wade, Cody Johnson, Keith Urban, co-host Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood and co-host Kane Brown with his wife, Katelyn Brown will also perform during the coveted awards ceremony.
Avery Anna, Chapel Hart, Jackson Dean, Lily Rose, Megan Moroney, and Nate Smith will also perform on the RAM Trucks Side Stage during the show.
